The St. George Vacation

Ultimate relaxation...

Ashley, Jessica and I have been planning on going on a summer vacation for the past while, possibilities ranging from camping along the Pacific coast, camping in Zions, many things. But, just the other week we found out that Jessica's aunt, Elna, has a condo in St. George that was available for the weekend before last. So, needless to say, in a day our vacation was planned and the day after that we were cruising down to enjoy a weekend of sun and sensational relaxation.

Ashley Kay was kind enough to drive.
Our car has no A/C but Ashley's does. Wonderful.

Jessica enjoying the ride up.

Word, yo.

Our view from the balcony. Rough, right?

Palm trees abound.

The condo was on the edge of a neighborhood that
bordered a little desolation. Made for a good bike ride.

I took this while I was riding the bike.
Seriously, I was moving, riding with one hand.

We had a delicious barbecue.

Jessica and I had a rousing game of tennis. Jessica won.

The pool was beautiful and palm trees were everywhere.

If I remember right, this entire day was spent at the pool.

Yeah, we stayed there until it got dark.

That Sunday after church we stopped by the
St. George temple and went through the Visitors Center.
That brings our temple count to four for June.

Sadly, our trip had come to an end. . .
